π Biography
Richard Harrison is an American actor and writer known for his extensive work in European exploitation and action cinema from the 1960s through the 1980s. With his rugged looks and strong physical presence, Harrison became a regular in sword-and-sandal epics, spaghetti westerns, and martial arts films.
Harrison first found success in Italy, appearing in numerous peplum (mythological adventure) films such as Gladiators Seven (1964) and Revolt of the Praetorians (1964). Later, he moved into Westerns and low-budget action films, working with international directors in Italy, the Philippines, and Hong Kong.
