Trigger, born Golden Cloud, was a palomino stallion who became one of the most famous animal stars in Hollywood history. Known as “The Smartest Horse in the Movies”, Trigger was the loyal companion and co-star of Roy Rogers in nearly every one of his classic Western films and television episodes.

Originally trained as a stunt horse, Trigger’s intelligence and charm on screen quickly elevated him to star status.
